Shinobu Tawada

Shinobu Tawada, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon and rehabilitation specialist with a deep commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities. After completing his medical degree at Nagoya City University and specializing in orthopedics, Dr. Tawada dedicated 18 years to working in rehabilitation facilities for children with disabilities. In 2008, he established Tawada Rehabilitation Clinic, a specialized clinic that has become a leading resource for children with disabilities nationwide.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Tawada is a passionate advocate for children’s foot health and has given numerous lectures on this topic throughout Japan. In 2018, he founded the NPO WISH to promote healthy foot development in children. He is also actively involved in supporting various charitable organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, Good Neighbors Japan, and an India education support project. Dr. Tawada has a long history of public speaking, having presented at numerous conferences and workshops on topics related to pediatric orthopedics, rehabilitation, and disability.
