In September 2024, I had the singular honor of attending a private gathering hosted by Forbes Media in New York. As the sole Japanese representative among a gathering of global philanthropists, I was deeply moved by the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about creating a better world.
Having been raised with a profound sense of social responsibility, I have been involved in philanthropic endeavors focused on Africa since my childhood. This summit provided a platform for me to reflect on my journey and to recommit myself to supporting development initiatives on the continent.
A highlight of the summit was the opportunity to sign a partnership agreement with a leading African non-profit organization. I am excited about the potential of this collaboration to make a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.
