Kigwati Primary and Secondary School

- Support: Renovation of the entire school building (roof, floor, doors, walls, windows, etc.)
- Donation Amount: 850,000 yen
- Details: Kigwati Primary and Secondary School is a public school in Burundi that needs significant infrastructure improvements. The school building is in poor condition, with limited classrooms and no windows, causing disruptions during inclement weather. The lack of a principal’s office also hinders effective school administration. With this donation, we will renovate the entire school building, including constructing a new principal’s office.
Tughe High School
- Country: Socialist Republic of Vietnam
- Support: Water purification equipment
- Donation Amount: 432,000 yen
- Details: Tughe High School is located in a mountainous region of Vietnam where access to clean water is limited. Due to the terrain, digging wells is not feasible. The school currently relies on water from mountain streams, which is not always safe to drink. This donation will provide water purification equipment to ensure the health and well-being of the students and staff.
Indromulla School
- Country: Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
- Support: Partitioning, washroom renovation, playground painting, and fan installation
- Donation Amount: 103,313 yen
- Details: Indromulla School in Sri Lanka faces various challenges, including inadequate classroom space and poor sanitation facilities. The school’s infrastructure needs significant improvement to create a conducive learning environment. This donation will help address these issues by partitioning classrooms, renovating washrooms, painting the playground, and installing fans to improve comfort.
Royal University of Phnom Penh
- Country: Kingdom of Cambodia
- Support: Construction of a hall for the Japanese Language Department
- Donation Amount: 314,687 yen
- Details: The Royal University of Phnom Penh is a prestigious institution in Cambodia. The Japanese Language Department needs a larger space for events and student exchanges. This donation will fund the construction of a new hall to accommodate the growing needs of the department.
WorldBeings (NGO in the USA)
- Details: WorldBeings is an NGO dedicated to providing educational programs in India and Africa. In partnership with the Kenyan Ministry of Education, they aim to reach over 11,000 schools, 40,000 teachers, and 1.2 million youth annually. Additionally, they are currently implementing programs for 7,000 youth in Rwanda. The goal is to expand these programs nationwide by 2027.
