To make a real difference, we need influence. We dream of a world free from poverty,
where education empowers, and where everyone can live a fulfilling life.
Let’s build a healthier society where all beings are cherished.
We are voyagers on the vast ocean of society, charting new courses and braving stormy seas to reach a brighter future.
Let’s illuminate the world with our collective brilliance, creating a future where dreams take flight and hope endures.
We envision a world where everyone thrives, a society where compassion and understanding prevail.
If your heart resonates with this vision, join us in taking the first step toward a better tomorrow.
By cultivating our hearts, expanding our horizons, and inspiring others,
we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to shine.
Let’s empower ourselves to make a lasting impact, protecting those
we cherish and building a future we can all be proud of.
Start today by cherishing yourself and those you love.
The world seems filled with so much strife. It pains me to see it.
I dream of a day when peace reigns supreme. In my community service club,
we’ve been looking beyond our borders, focusing on issues in places like Los Angeles,
Taiwan, Vietnam, and Africa. But I’ve always believed that the journey to global peace begins at home.
Have you created a haven of happiness within your own walls? Is your home filled with love and laughter?
For me, even after a dozen years, waking up to my husband’s smile each morning is a joy.
And throughout the day, I find myself expressing gratitude for his presence.
Small moments, like our daily dog walks, fill me with immense joy.
When we cultivate love and kindness within our families, our hearts find peace. And from that place of peace,
we can extend our love to others. By fostering love and compassion on a personal level,
we can contribute to a more harmonious world.
People often ask me why things seem to work out so well for me,
both personally and professionally.
My answer is simple: it’s about purpose. Knowing who you want to serve gives your life direction.
Whether it’s your customers, your employees, or your community,
understanding their needs and desires is the foundation of success.
For me, it’s about asking myself every day, ‘How can I make someone’s life a little better?’
This mindset has not only improved my business but also deepened my personal relationships.
The finite nature of life has dramatically changed how I spend time with people,
my relationship with my husband, my daily actions, my pace, and the outcomes I create.
While there are many factors that have led me to ponder the preciousness of life,
such as my daughter’s birth just days after the Great East Japan Earthquake,
the biggest influence has been my beloved husband.
For instance, if a mosquito flies into our house, he doesn’t swat it. Instead,
he gently cups it in his hand and releases it outside. When he finds an ant in our apartment,
even though we lived on the top floor, he would get dressed and take it all the way
down to the park to set it free. He has always taught me to cherish all life,
no matter how small. He is fearless when confronting the powerful but incredibly gentle with the weak.
For over a decade, he’s consistently demonstrated this, from confronting intimidating figures to donating his entire bonus to charity. Watching him marvel at the beauty of nature, his heart filled with joy, has inspired me to do the same.
My involvement in environmental activities, support for developing countries, and work with animal shelters
all stem from a deep-rooted desire to protect the things he cherishes: the beauty of our planet and all its creatures.
A legendary entrepreneur once said before he passed away, ‘I realized that the only thing that truly matters is the love and memories you create.’ His words have always resonated with me.
It’s easy to get caught up in our careers, but it’s the relationships we build that truly matter. The people who love us, support us, and care about us. I hope more families can find a balance between their passions and their loved ones.
In our family, we made a conscious decision early on to prioritize our time together. We’ve been fortunate to travel the world, explore new cultures, and create lasting memories. It’s a decision we’ve never regretted.
Life is too short to not surround yourself with the things you love and the people who make you happy. As many retired executives have said, the biggest regret is not spending more time with their families.
Let’s make every moment count.
“I hope for a world where kindness is rewarded.”
There are people who put others before themselves, always ready to help for others. People who practice altruism. I have so much respect for those who consistently do good deeds.
My husband’s mother, a former nurse, is one such person. After raising three boisterous boys, she adopted two more children and raised them with so much love. She even covers the out-of-pocket costs for their care, including expensive dental work. She also cares for three rescue dogs and a cat that she saved from being euthanized. She dedicates herself to their care day and night.
Even though she’s always busy taking care of the animals, she rarely has time for herself. When she finally agreed to come visit us from the countryside, my daughter and our dogs were thrilled. We asked a chef to come and cook for us, wanting her to enjoy a special meal.
Even though she said she didn’t want to trouble us, she ended up having a great time chatting with the chef. She mentioned how nice it was to have some peace and quiet for once, as she’s usually surrounded by the sounds of her dogs.
Seeing her happy made me realize how important it is to appreciate those who put others first. I hope that those who do good for society will experience great happiness in return. I hope for a world where that’s the norm. I will strive to do my part.
